Neurodynamic mobilization (NM) otherwise called Nerve Flossing Technique (NFT) which used to treat various disorders of the nervous system concerning the length and mobility of peripheral nerves, as the nerve flossing refers to techniques that help to reestablish motion between a nerve and its surrounding soft tissues, thus to treat the nerves that have become entangled within the soft tissue, as it leads to tension release on a nerve by stretching and pulling one end of the nerve during keeping the other end in a relaxed state. There are two common Neurodynamic techniques, the first one is called a “slider technique” which is a flossing technique that done in a gradually controlled way, and the second one is the “tensioner technique” which could be a more vigorous technique that depends on ‘pulls from both ends’ of the nerve, the two techniques could be used as graduation so the NM application could start with the slider technique followed by the tensioner technique

Thoughts on art and erotic photography
I think body language is a language like any other tongue. It’s universal but the comprehension we share widely varies( i always think of the Tower of Babel). But some concepts transcends language, transcends culture, transcends personal experience and are just understood. I like to use erotic photography to create love notes, sonnets, poems, haiku, etc. the art of using words to create art but in this medium the words are body position, the grammar is background, the punctuation are angles and etc. this may not make a ton of sense but it’s the process for me capturing art.

Psychology of resonances
Exploring the emotional and physical aspects of rope bondage, and how different positions in rope can impact the experience. This practice, often, involves creating intricate and aesthetically pleasing patterns with rope, often with an emphasis on the emotional and psychological connection. The choice of positions, harnesses, and ties can is a thoughtful process that involves considering how different ties and positions will impact the the visual appeal as well as the emotional and physical responses. The intention behind each position is crucial, as it goes beyond aesthetics and is aimed at intentionally altering the state, both mentally and physically. The position, pattern and pressure can evoke a range of sensations and emotions. For instance, the physical compression or restriction may lead to intense feelings, and certain positions may hold symbolic resonances, triggering emotional responses. The intentional alteration of the state becomes a key element of the practice, The practice becomes a dynamic interplay of aesthetics and experience, with the ropes serving as a medium for communication, connection, and exploration. It’s not just about how it looks, but about how it feels and the emotional journey it facilitates creating a unique and personalized experience.

Navigating/Establishing Fair Energetic Exchange
Consistently giving can lead to burnout, even in activities we genuinely enjoy. To sustain our work and preserve our intimate experiences, it’s crucial to factor in Fair Energetic Exchange (FEE) introduced by educator Del Tashlin.
FEE is more than just a transaction; it’s about fostering positive and mutually respectful experiences. Establishing FEE in advance provides clarity on when our obligations end.
FEE encompasses various elements such as direct contributions, referrals, public recognition, permissions for documentation, travel/accomendation/material reimbursements, bartering, and the accumulation of boons or IOUs. Unfortunately, those we connect with may overlook the significant effort and energy invested in magical workings or rituals. Where energy is exchanged, acknowledging this energy becomes crucial. Openly discussing and negotiating FEE can simplify the complexities for everyone involved.
Creative problem-solving is essential for FEE, Whether through skill transfer, adjusting approaches, or finding compromises, navigating challenges with creativity ensures a harmonious exchange.
In community, acknowledging and uplifting one another is fundamental. FEE extends beyond scenes to encompass the efforts invested in maintaining spaces. We’re all part of this community, where support is key.
Ultimately, FEE is not confined to specific domains; it permeates all aspects of life and relationships. It serves as a fundamental aspect of maintaining balance, ensuring that the energetic exchange in our pursuits, whether magical, sensual, or intimate, remains fair, fulfilling, and mutually beneficial.

Understanding the Difference Between Black and BIPOC/POC: and why it is Important in Kink Spaces
Let’s talk about something important: understanding the differences between “Black” and terms like “BIPOC” or “POC” in our kink community. These terms are thrown around a lot, but they mean different things and have a big impact on how we create safe and inclusive spaces.
First off, “Black” specifically refers to folks of African or African diasporic descent. It’s about recognizing the unique history, culture, and experiences of Black people. In our kink spaces, acknowledging these experiences is crucial for understanding how race and sexuality intersect and for making sure Black individuals feel valued and seen.
Now, “BIPOC” and “POC” are more broad. They include Black people but also Indigenous folks and other people of color. While these terms are meant to show solidarity among marginalized groups, they can sometimes overlook the specific struggles faced by Black individuals.
Why does this matter?
When we acknowledge the Black experience, we make sure Black kinksters know they’re important and belong in our community. Sadly, even within marginalized communities like ours, there’s often anti-Black attitudes(prejudices, biases, and discriminatory behaviors directed towards black individuals perpetuating systemic oppression and marginalization based on racial identity). Black individuals deal with more than just racism. They have complex identities that intersect with race, gender, sexuality, and a bunch of other shit. But here’s the thing: terms like “BIPOC” and “POC” can erase the specific struggles of Black people. It’s like saying everyone’s experience is the same when you know damn well it is not. This erasure can make Black individuals feel invisible and unheard. We need to do better. That means listening to Black people, acknowledging their unique challenges, and actively working to dismantle anti-Blackness. Let’s create a kink community where everyone feels valued, respected, and understood.

The Western Split
In the intricate web of western cognition, there exists a propensity to artificially fragment individuals into irreconcilable, opposing fragments. This division spawns a dichotomous perception, where reality is parsed, evaluated, and then manipulated into controlled constructs. Within this paradigm, dualities proliferate: good versus evil in religion, form versus content in art, right versus wrong in logic, and subject versus object in language. Even in the realm of science, probability contends with improbability, workability with unworkability, all forming an infinite tapestry of contrasting pairs, tethered together by the taut strings of tension.
This tendency inevitably leads to the segmentation of the world into allies and adversaries, fostering a determination to pinpoint enemies rather than cultivate companionship. The overarching theme becomes one of confrontation, with control as the prevailing mode. Polarity shifts towards hierarchy, where the self is delineated not by its intrinsic qualities but by its differentiation from the other—a manifestation of the great chain of being. This hierarchy thrives on notions of superiority and subordination, dominance and submission, imposing a rational order where the positive end of each dichotomy wields control over its negative counterpart.

Nirvana + Samsara
“Floating amidst the vast symphony of imagery lies the remnants of the conceptual mind, a minuscule voice echoing amid the chaos, crying out for order and structure, attempting to explain the inexplicable. Yet, no one can foresee the ceaseless waves of turmoil beneath the surface. Close your mouth, breathe through your nose, and silence the rational mind. You cannot tame the sea through intellectual strife.

Black Skin Care for Impact Bruises and Hyperpigmentation
Caring for Black Skin After Impact Play: A Community Guide to Bruises and Hyperpigmentation
Let’s be honest—some pleasures come with a price. For those of us who engage in BDSM, especially impact play, bruises, welts, and skin discoloration can be part of the aftermath. And for folks with melanated skin, we often face a unique challenge: post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The marks linger longer, they darken more easily, and they’re harder to fade. But the good news? There are ways to care for your skin—rituals that can soothe, heal, and restore.
Here’s a collection of tips, tools, and products gathered from real-life experience and community wisdom—because we take care of ourselves and each other.
Start with the basics. Arnica remains a go-to for reducing swelling and bruising—gels, creams, and even oral tablets can all help. Epsom salt baths are soothing for sore muscles, and Aloe Vera (the real kind or gel) is excellent for calming and cooling the skin post-play. Burn creams can also provide relief for surface abrasions.
Once inflammation has settled, it’s time to start addressing pigmentation. Acids like salicylic, glycolic, mandelic, and azelaic can help gently exfoliate the skin and promote cell turnover. But timing matters—don’t use acids on raw or freshly bruised skin. Wait until the skin has healed, then introduce them slowly. Mandelic and azelaic acids are especially kind to darker skin tones and less likely to irritate.
Vitamin E and C serums are beloved for a reason—they help support skin healing and can reduce the appearance of discoloration. Niacinamide is another superstar: it regulates pigment production and strengthens the skin barrier.
Products like benzoyl peroxide body wash (PanOxyl is a favorite) also help prevent body acne and post-mark hyperpigmentation—especially useful during the sweatier months.
For those looking to go a little deeper, ingredients like alpha arbutin, kojic acid, tranexamic acid, licorice root extract, and even turmeric can help brighten and even skin tone. These are tyrosinase inhibitors—they slow down melanin production. If you’re looking to fade existing dark marks, these can be game-changers.
But here’s the part that too many forget: sunscreen. Yes, even if you’re not sunbathing. Even indoors. AHAs, BHAs, and retinoids can increase sun sensitivity, and dark skin is just as susceptible to UV damage. Daily SPF 35 or higher is non-negotiable if you’re trying to avoid making pigmentation worse.
Support your skin barrier with humectants (like hyaluronic acid), emollients (like ceramides and peptides), and occlusives (like Vaseline or oils). When your skin is hydrated, nourished, and protected, it’s better equipped to bounce back.
The work is layered, like skin itself. You soothe, you protect, you treat. It’s about honoring your body not just during the scene, but after—when the adrenaline fades and you’re left with the echoes of pleasure.
Marks can be a beautiful reminder of trust, surrender, and sensation. But if you want to fade them—or simply take better care of your skin after play—there’s no shame in that. Just tenderness. Just care. Just love, in all its forms.

reflections of the bald one
Today, I had a fascinating conversation about why I use tantra and energy work in my rope practice and how I started down this path. It was such an insightful reflection that I wanted to share it here.
When I first began tying, it was simply to learn a new skill. But as I practiced and studied—reading books, taking classes—it quickly became something I loved. The shift happened when I learned about somatics and tantra. I started seeing rope as a spiritual practice. Somatics taught me that we are connected beings, not only to each other but also to ourselves. Our bodies reflect our emotions, and unless we embrace all emotions, even the difficult ones, we remain influenced by invisible forces. It reminded me of the saying, ‘Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will rule your life, and you will call it fate.’
Exploring tantra was initially challenging; I struggled to connect it with somatics. But when I began to see energy as a force that can be directed with intention, I gained clarity. This led me to explore intentionality, lifestyle mastery, and the art of loving, eventually guiding me to sacred kink, paganism, sex magick, and erotic hypnosis. Sacred sexuality became a path toward carnal alchemy, transmutation, and even entheogenics.
I now seek a coven that embraces mysticism, ritual, and ordeal. I want to build a community with those who don’t avoid shadow but embrace it, who revel in wicked desires, and who see ordeal as a crucible for transformation. I seek those who view intimacy and the erotic as a powerful, expansive force—one that isn’t about control or reduction but about embracing the uncontrolled and the limitless.
Reflecting on this journey reminded me of how much my rope practice has evolved. I’m still learning and growing, but it’s beautiful to see how far I’ve come and where I hope to go.

A Incantation for guidance
Guardian of the crossroads, I call upon your wisdom.
As I guide myself and others through the sacred art of rope, may your energy clear the way,
Removing blockages and opening the door between the seen and the unseen.
Guide our steps with intention, so that we journey with purpose.
Keeper of wisdom, ruler of the mind and spirit, I invite your presence.
May your energy wrap us as we explore the depths of ourselves.
may we connect to higher consciousness, finding clarity and strength.
Ruler of storms, I ask for your power of change and transformation.
In the chaos of growth, blow away that which no longer serves us,
illuminate the shadows we confront within.
As we journey through ritual and pain, may your energy carry us through,
Opening the gates of renewal and leading us into a deeper version of ourselves.
Keeper of fire, I invoke your passion and vitality.
may your energy ignite the flames of awakening.
As the rope tightens, let the power flow through us,
Transforming our fears into strength, our desires into power.
Guide us to harness the fire within, to rise and connect to our innermost selves.
Mother of abundance, I seek your nurturing presence.
may your love flow through us like rivers,
Healing wounds, soothing hearts, and bringing balance to the intensity we embrace.
May your light surround us, wrapping us in surrender to the pleasure of the journey.
Cleanse, purify and nurture us for connection and growth.
I offer my gratitude.
May your energies guide my hands, strengthen my spirit, and empower my work.
May every tie be sacred, every moment be intentional, and every journey be transformative.
As I walk this path, I do so in honor of your power and wisdom.
Ashe.
