I had a conversation with someone raised religious who said they were exploring spirituality. But as they spoke, I realized they were describing practices more aligned with Pagan traditions than “spiritual.”
It reminded me how important it is to name what we’re actually talking about.
To me, faith is trust. Spirituality is making sense of our spirit, our place, and our purpose. and Religion is when that search gets organized: into stories, symbols, and systems.
Without clarity, we end up speaking in circles, and not connecting.
